Electric field probe EFS3

Electric field probe EFS3

  • measurement of alternating electric fields
  • TCO compliant sensor geometry
  • frequency range 10 Hz - 400 kHz
  • microelectronics integrated in the connector
  • a lightweight of only 245 g
  • excellent price-performance ratio
  • just plug it into the Fieldmeter FM6 or FM10 and start the measurement
  • to be connected to the Fieldmeter FM6 and the Fieldmeter FM10

Available as an alternative to the compact multi-purpose measuring probe of the Fieldmeter FM6 and the Fieldmeter FM10, the electric field probe EFS3 enables a cost-efficient and precise potential-referenced measuring of low-frequency alternating electric fields with a probe geometry compliant with the MPR/TCO standard.

The large sensor surface of EFS3 creates a homogenous field situation, and falsifying spatial effects, like for example the position of the person who carries out the measurement or the position of a stand, on the result of the measurement are minimised in that way. The sensor geometry and the calibration of EFS3 comply with the TCO regulation; the Fieldmeters FM6 and FM10, as display devices, also dispose of the effective value rectification of the measuring signal that is requested according to the standards.

The reference potential that is necessary for measurements carried out with EFS3 can be generated easily and comfortably, as with the Fieldmeters FM6 and FM10. EFS3 can take over the potential of the person who carries out the measurement via the handle or be grounded via the earthing cable of FM6 or FM10 for exact measurements.
